Born in Venezuela, Bruno felt at an early age a strong attachment to art in all its forms. But the one he most enjoyed was dance. He was always taking part in dance performances and was always left wanting and striving for more.  In 2003, he travelled to England to pursue a new life and his future career as a dancer. While in England, Bruno achieved a National Diploma in Performance at Croydon College.  He then headed back to Caracas, Venezuela to complete a year of intensive training in contemporary dance at the national Institute of Dance (IUDANZA).  

 

Wanting to expand more his knowledge and experience Bruno travelled back to London to craft his dance skills further. While there, he completed his Dance Performance BA at Middlesex University. Middlesex gave Bruno the opportunity to explore the art of choreographing and to immerse himself in dance techniques such as Ballet, Improv, Dance Theatre and the contemporary techniques of Cunningham, Graham and Limon.

In 2012, Bruno moved to Montreal where he taught classes at a number of dance studios.  Bruno founded and choreographed Burlesque Pop; an avant-garde heels dance troupe that was featured at the Raw Festival Montreal (2015) and at The Wiggle Room (2016).

​Now living in Toronto, Bruno founded Dance Legion where he teaches dance workshops, classes and choreography. Dance Legion offers recreational fun classes in areas such as: Popfied : Britneyfied Urban Latin, Commercial Street ,Street Jazz Styles
